#11 - We're Building India's next Unicorn

Where do I even start?

It’s been 18 days since we last spoke, and a lot has happened. Let me catch you up.

The StuKonnect Story

So, remember how we planned to launch mid-April? Yeah, scratch that. We decided to send it three weeks early. No buffer, no safety net—just full throttle.

The original plan? 30 days to onboard 12 mentors and build a pre-launch funnel. What we actually did? Five days. Five days to create hype, shoot content, and somehow make it all work.

That meant 30 short-form videos, 4 long-form pieces, and 8 story sequences—with a three-person team. Meanwhile, Aryan (our CEO) had to wrap up coding the entire platform in two weeks, all while juggling a full-time job.

Nuit Nuit (5am)

It was chaos. But honestly, what else is entrepreneurship?

We had hiccups, of course. One of our editors dipped last minute, so I had to jump in and start editing myself. The website launched with a bug (cue panic mode). And some mentors had doubts right before launch, which led to a bunch of last-minute back & forth.

But we pulled it off.

The Numbers? Wild.

250,000 views and 2,500 followers on Instagram
36,000 views and 1,700 subscribers on YouTube
20,000+ website visits in five days

Safe to say, launch day was a success.
