Urgency, Inflection Points & The Art of Doing Less
What’s Been Happening?
It’s been two weeks since my last update, and things have been moving fast. Here’s a quick rundown:
StuKonnect is charging ahead. Initially, we had planned a 30-day pre-launch campaign, but after a couple of competitors unexpectedly popped up, we decided to shorten the window to just five days. No time to overthink—just action. We Launch on March 23, 2025
On March 2, Aryan and I had an incredible conversation with Saksham and Akshat for The Journey Club podcast. We dove deep into building online businesses, content creation, and the opportunities that lie ahead. It was one of those moments where age didn’t matter—I was the youngest in the room, but the conversation was rich and insightful. Once the episode goes live, I’ll be sure to share it.
The past week has been a whirlwind. We onboarded 10 incredible mentors for StuKonnect, which meant two intense days of outreach. Reaching out to people you don’t know is always uncomfortable at first, but it’s a skill I’ve honed over the past year—and it works. Crafting the right message, especially through video, can help you connect with anyone.

StuKonnect Launch Date - March 23, 2025
Over the weekend, Aryan and I doubled down on content creation for the pre-launch period. The marketing we’ve got planned is going to be next-level, so make sure to follow StuKonnect on Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
I lately spearheaded something pretty cool at my search fund internship, Been spending two days/week in office, just trying to bite off a bit more than i can chew and learn as much as humanly possible.
On the fitness side, I’ve been keeping things simple: two strength workouts per week, one run, and some mobility work when I can squeeze it in. While I used to train every single day, right now, the focus is on staying strong, healthy, and athletic—while prioritising good cognition.

And hey, if you missed it, India just won the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. That’s two major international trophies won, three finals reached, and only one lost game in all three tournaments. Pure dominance. We’re well into The Indian Decade—on and off the field.

Epiphany #1 – The Art of Doing Less (But Better)
Some books teach you skills and strategies, while others change how you think entirely.
The last book that shifted my mindset was Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz—a must-read for anyone. Now, I’m diving into Essentialism by Greg McKeown, and it’s starting to shape my perspective on work and life.
I’ve always been someone who says yes to everything—trying to take on every opportunity. The problem? My energy gets scattered. When you try to do everything, you end up doing nothing well.
This book is forcing me to ask two key questions:
What actually matters?
What’s just noise?
It’s a difficult shift, but once you start focusing on what truly matters, everything becomes clearer. And that’s where the concept of Essentialism’s Choose-Discern-Trade-Off really comes into play.

Epiphany #2 – Inflection Points & How Big Results Happen
We're three months into the year, and for the first time, I've split it into four 90-day sprints, each with just three key goals. Simple plans, clear progress markers—no unnecessary complexity. It's all about focusing on the essential, and here's the twist: I've also been learning about how inflection points play a role in driving those big results.
An inflection point is that moment when change happens—not incrementally, but exponentially. It's that critical juncture where the small efforts you've been putting in suddenly compound and shift the trajectory of your efforts. It’s like you’re pushing a rock up a hill, and then suddenly, it crests, and momentum takes over, pushing you forward much faster.
At first, when you're grinding through the day-to-day, things seem slow. You’re working hard, but progress feels minuscule. But, after a while, something shifts—the little wins start to add up, and suddenly, you start seeing real, tangible results. This is the power of momentum in action. It’s like planting a seed and nurturing it, then watching it grow into something bigger and better.
The key to reaching these inflection points is focusing on the right efforts and being patient through the slower phases. The results don’t show up immediately, but when they do, everything clicks into place.

Inflection Points
The Power of Essentialism’s “Choose-Discern-Trade-Off”
Now, tying this back to Essentialism—the idea of choosing what truly matters, discerning where your energy is best spent, and being willing to make trade-offs is what drives those inflection points.
The first step is to Choose—what are the few things that will make the most difference in your life or business? By choosing the highest-leverage activities, you set yourself up for the kind of compound growth that leads to an inflection point.
Next is the Discernment process—this is where you cut out the distractions. In today’s world, there’s always something competing for your attention. Discernment helps you identify what’s worth your time and focus, and, just as importantly, what isn’t. The trick is being brutally honest with yourself about what really moves the needle.
Lastly, Trade-Offs are inevitable. You can’t do everything, and that’s okay. In fact, that’s necessary. Every choice comes with a trade-off. When you say yes to something, you’re implicitly saying no to something else. The key is to get comfortable with those trade-offs and recognise that saying no to the non-essential is the ultimate form of productivity.
A Few Reads Worth Your Time
I came across a couple of interesting reads this week:
That’s all for now.
